Boot Sale Blues

Today I went to a large boot sale but was sadly disappointed.  It was one of those days where most people are just getting rid of their kids' rubbish.
Luckily I didn't go home emptyhanded.  I found what I think are 1970s place mats (pictured above) for a very cheap price.  Or they may be those cloths people used to put on the arms of their chairs.
Hope your vintage treasure hunts went better than mine today.

    They can be such hit a miss-can't they? When you do come across "a find" you just enjoy it that much more.

    Glad you didn't come home empty-handed - and I actually LOVE those vintage placemats or whatever they are that you got!! Pretty pattern and colors.
