Naturally Crafty

These colourful log bowls look stunning. The contrast between the natural wood and smooth, high gloss colour really appeals to me.

Apparently the fallen logs are dried naturally for six-months before being turned by a woodworker. "The bowls are then hand-painted inside using colorful high-gloss acrylics and finished with a water-based sealant".

Nice!

  2. Those are so pretty! I think I would be tempted to just hang them on the wall, like the first picture looks (although I'm sure that's just an overhead shot).

  3. These are VERRRY pleasing to my eye! Love the smooth/rough juxtaposition! Using one of these for a cereal bowl would give a whole NEW meaning to the phrase "morning wood", huh?
