Ticks and Tocks, Sir

Following a link from a recent Retro To Go post led me to the oh-so-cool centre clock from asda. On the asda site I fell in love with the 'Tres Raised Baton' wall clock - it's stark, simplicity is rather amazing I think but the bright colour stops it from being dull. From there, I searched for more clocks.
There seems to be a lot of sun burst style clocks around lately. Some great, some not so great. The silver sun wall clock here is one of the better ones - I'd be glad to display it in my home.

The 'Wango' has a very swish quality to it. I like the contrast of white on wood. Although it's new, I can imagine it hanging on the wall of a mid-century, stone walled den, while the man of the house reads a newspaper and smokes his pipe... but I digress.
The flip clock has a nice shape to it and I can just see it in my kitchen but can't really justify it as I have a massive clock in my living room which can be seen easily from the kitchen.
Curse this sensible husband of mine!

  1. I'm partial to the starburst - have a couple of vintage ones myself! The other ones are quite nice, too. Maybe if you keep your eyes open at thrift stores or yard sales (boot sales?), you'll find a style you like for cheap!

  2. They are cool. I'm being very good about not buying everything I see at the moment (I feel), but if I come across any bargains in real life, I'm not sure I'd be able to resist. But I am sure I'll share my finds with everyone on here :)
