A big thankyou to the lovely Sue at Astrachic Studio for awarding me with the 'Liebster Blog' Award.  The award is apparently to showcase other less known blogs - those with less than 300 followers.

Psst! That's not really a photo of me - it's Wendy Dascomb aka Miss USA 1969.

I officially accept the award and pass it on to 3 to 5 other blogs with less than 300 followers.

draw! pilgrim - Design. Life. Style. Colour.  This blog has them all!  A virtual feast of colour and cool.  I want everything she has.

Jill Browning - Another kindred spirit. I seem to like pretty much anything she likes.

Pop Circus - Fun, witty and an all-around 'nice guy, 'Ringmaster Anthony is a big kid and proud of it.

Obsessilicious - Although I sometimes think he exists purely to make me jealous,  I can't resist ogling his blog.

As pleased as I am to receive the award, I don't like having to choose.  I narrowed it down to those who posted recently but I would love EVERYONE to have an award. If I follow you it's because I like your blog.

It is for that reason that I also hereby accept 1950s Atomic Ranch House's Atomic Mid Century Blog Award and encourage all those who read my blog to do the same.

This award is completely pressure free and comes with no strings attached.  There's even a snoopy version if you prefer.  Check out 1950s Atomic Ranch House - she's grand.

  1. Congrats! Am off to check out the blogs you've listed. LOVING finding more and more new to me blogs about vintage stuff and sometimes not so vintage stuff.

  2. Congrats on the award! Great idea to promote lesser known blogs, been intending to do that for a few blogs I know. =)

I think I've won a total of 3 awards myself lol. So I wanted to give everyone an award. Sucks when you never win, I know how it feels!

  3. Why, thank you ever so, m'lady!
It's so nice to receive an award, but even nicer when it comes from someone you truly like and admire, such as the illustrious Miss MoonDoggie! :)
