How have I been away for so long?
I know I still haven't posted the promised pictures of the new place but every time I get the inclination, it's a mess! However, things have been moving on and we now have a wardrobe! I'd like to say things are so much better now that I have one but I haven't got around to organising what should go where - a job for this week I believe.

Also, I am so pleased to announce that I have finally purchased some tulip dining chairs! One of my very first posts (back in February 2009!) was about this chair and soon four of them will be in my home to address the “ugly, confusing, unrestful world resulting from the slum of legs underneath typical chairs and tables" (source).

Despite a variety of cushion colours to choose from, I've decided to go with the seemingly standard red cushion on white chair. This will go well with my beloved Woodstock poster and funky Carltonware cruet set as featured in previous posts.

Hooray about the tulip chairs! And I absolutely LOVE that Woodstock poster. I painted pictures and made a mobile using the bird from that poster when I decorated my first grandson's nursery.

I adore that bird mobile Dana! Your poster was cool too but mine is the red one that you see around more often. I'm gonna have to look out for your one now :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I've got my fake saarinen table, all I need is some real saarinen chairs to go with it.
ReplyDeleteOooh fake or not, I want a saarinen table. Unfortunately my new place is still too small :(
